I Survived

I did it.  I spoke in front of a crowd last night and survived.  Terrified and a little disgruntled at a friend for prodding me to stand up, I made the effort.  The ground didn't open up and swallow me, although that's what I wanted to happen.

It's amazing what you experience when you open yourself to new vistas.  Hope I can do the same tomorrow night as well as the next two meetings I've signed up to lead.
