Boy, today really was a doozy. Half way into our trip, I had a strange urge to pull into the welcome center for a rest stop. Lucky for me I did, my brakes went on my van. I'm glad my husband got me AAA last year. It was a great help in getting my van to a repair place and rented a car to get us to our final destination.
To top it all off, it started to rain. Sometimes it came down in buckets and made visibility non-existent. However, we made it, about three hours after I'd estimated. So glad we're here and safe. It's great to see all my friends, especially some that I haven't seen in years.
